He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
Ben's Happy Tail ♥ He's Never Ben Happier
I love your site and what you are doing!! I have a dog from Stark County pound. We pulled him on October 17th, 2006. I had come across his picture on Petfinder and emailed Pat Miller from SRC. She said we could take him if I fostered him. I jumped at the chance as I had a feeling about him.
I called him Ben before I went to meet him and it fits perfectly. One of our volunteers got him from the pound and I met him in Mansfield as we live outside of Columbus. Ben was a mess but I knew that I loved him right away. After some settling in we realized that he had some fear aggression issues. That wasn't a big problem as I am a dog trainer and do all the behavior programs at the Union County Humane society. After a lot of training he is doing great!!
He comes to work with me and has started competing in agility trials. He is a very sought after playmate and has many doggie friends. I couldn't imagine life without him and would love to help you guys in any way possible. I have attached a picture of him with his best friend Hazel. Ben is the Mini Schnauzer.
