Friends Helping Friends

Friends of Stark Pound members want to express their sincere gratitute to those who have adopted and sponsored puppies and dogs from the Stark County Dog Pound. Finding homes for the homeless dogs is our mission, but there would be no Happy Tails or Post Events Reports without the members of our community reaching out to the puppies and dogs through volunteering, donating, and adopting. Thank-you to everyone who has been a friend helping a friend.

Franklin first graders are reaching out to the homeless - abandoned or stray dogs and cats. Megan Lynch's students collected food to help feed their furry friends who are waiting for a little love and a new home.

Friends of Stark Pound Adoption Booth

Every 2nd Saturday of the Month-PBS Animal Health

Volunteers from Friends of Stark Pound will be at PBS Animal Health located at 2780 Richville Drive in Massillon, OH with dogs rescued from Stark County Pound and available for adoption. Please call PBS at (330)834-9252 to ensure the volunteers will be there that day as on rare occasions, schedules change or the weather doesn't cooperate. The Adoption Booth is scheduled for June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8. Please check back for an expanded list of dates.
